The Hideaway @ Baxby Manor Online Booking

Opening Dates

The Hideaway @ Baxby Manor is open from Friday 31st March 2017 to Sunday 28th October 2017.

Booking Arrangements

Advance booking is essential particularly for weekends, bank holidays and during the peak season. At time of booking full contact details will be required and a deposit payment or full payment may be required.

If you require more than one pitch/unit then please search for availability and make bookings for ONE PITCH/UNIT AT A TIME, this is a maximum of six persons on a tent/campervan pitch, and either two or four persons in our Glamping accommodation.

Sorry but no Hen or Stag groups, in case you had not already gathered The Hideaway is not really that kind of a place, we have a strict no noise after 11pm policy so if you want to stay up late partying-this is NOT the site for you!

For further useful information on the site and Frequently asked Questions please click here.

Please Note - Check-in is only permitted from 2pm. (you will NOT be able to check-in before this time). Check-out is before 11am on your departure day. Charges will be incurred for late departures.

Touring Booking

We have 32 touring pitches for tents and Campervans, all level grass standing and some with electric hook-up.

Minimum Stays – we have a minimum booking of 2 nights for all Bank Holiday Weekends.

A pitch is for a Campervan or a tent and includes 2 people, a campfire pit and hot water showers.

Parties over 6 persons will need to reserve 2 pitches.

Ecopod Booking

We have two Double Ecopods (sleeps 2) and one Family Ecopod (sleeps 2+2).
Unlike most ‘Pods’ ours have proper beds in them and mattresses! The Doubles have a double bed for two whereas the Family Ecopod have a double bed, a bunk bed and a single bed for the kids.

There is no electricity in the Ecopods because that just wouldn’t be ‘eco-glamping, with soul’ now would it! There are lanterns for T-lights though so you can sit outside and gaze at the stars...

You will need to bring your own bedding (sheet, duvet/sleeping bag and pillows) and perhaps some chairs for sitting around the campfire and toasting some marshmallows...

Campfire cooking only, there’s no cooking facilities inside so bring a camping stove with you so you don’t have to crank up the fire in the morning for that bacon sarnie!

Each Ecopod has its own fire-pit.

Sorry, no dogs allowed in the Ecopods

Bell Tent Booking

If you fancy something a little MORE luxurious then come and check in to one of our Bell Tents for a couple of nights! With a PROPER double bed in our Standard Bells and a PROPER double bed plus two single futon beds in our Superior Bells plus “Up-cycled” outdoor furniture (chairs/benches and tables) made from wooden pallets and decking (as a result of our local pub’s refurbishment!) fairy lights, plates, bowls, cutlery, mugs, glasses, BBQ tools, portable single gas stove, kettle, and cushions and throws not to mention your own campfire by the door- there’s quite a lot included with our Bell Tents!

We suggest bringing a frying pan or two (no pans provided) for those tasty local bacon and eggs in the morning!

You will need to bring your own bedding, (none supplied) it is so much nicer having your own pillow you’ve got to admit! It can get a little cool during the night so bring a nice warm duvet.

Other items you will need include; dishcloths, washing up liquid, bag of t-lights, and perhaps a gazebo to shelter from the (rain!) sun.

Our Bell Tents have fairy lights and no electricity for the very same reasons mentioned above...

Each Bell Tent also has its own fire-pit.

No dogs allowed in the Bell Tents-sorry.
